I can remember like it was yesterday standing in front of the fireplace to warm my hand and legs on a cold winter day. My grandfather would always have the den warm and toasty for us when we came in from outside playing. Our family would sit in the den for hours and watch the fire and listen to it crackle. Sometimes the the fire would die down, but my paw paw had a remedy for that. Just outside the door he kept a wheelbarrow with some pine wood which he used to ignite the fire again. In a matter of seconds the fire would be backing burning fierce. And sometimes our faith is just like my grandfather's fire, extremely hot and it slowly fizzles out.
