  The other day I was driving along the highway and I noticed a marquee at the dentist office which stated the days and times walk-ins are welcome. As I was asleep I heard The Lord say walk in and he allowed my mind to roll back to the marquee. See on somedays you need an appointment to see the dentist but there are other days if you have a need you can still have it met all you need to do us just walk in. Others may have an appointment they made weeks ago and you just walked in. I am getting excited. There are some blessings, some opportunities, and some doors God is just going to allow us like the dentist to walk into. Our background, education, or money may say we are not in a position to obtain it but God says my favor said it is so! God is about to breathe on someone's purpose and plan. Take It By Force uHave you ever watched a television show where the police were attempting to arrest someone. Some of the persons the police attempt to arrest are non-compliant, unruly, and just plain out of order. In law terms this act is referred to as resisting arrest. When offenders will not cooperate with law enforcement officials they sometimes utilize tactics such as a tazer gun or even pepper spray to gain their control and diffuse the situation.  If the officer fails to apprehend the suspect there is a great possibility that some unwanted repercussions may occur. But the officer will not relent until the suspect is in full custody, even if back up must be called. Now that is persistent! Delayed But Still Destined On yesterday I left my hotel in Indiana at 11:30 expecting to board a plane at 4:22 which would take me into Hotlanta! I waited patiently with my travel companions laughing, talking, and sharing. As the four o'clock hour approached the captain made an announcement informing us our flight would be delayed due to thunderstorms in Atlanta. Needless to say there were several more delays due to the weather. I almost missed my connecting flight to Baton Rouge. We experienced storms during both of our initial descents, but an hour later than my original destination time I had reached my final stop. I was delayed but I  arrived! There is no demon who is able to withstand the power that is made available to us when we plead the blood of Jesus. The Blood of Jesus still works! The Blood washes, it cleans, it heals, it saves, it delivers, it makes whole! When you apply the Blood of Jesus to any situation it has to bow down! Why because there is no power higher than our God! Think about it this way the blood shed over 2013 years ago is still working  miracles! The miracle is not in the blood but who the blood belongs to. There is significance in the blood he shed! Apply the Blood of Jesus today even in that situation you are in and watch God work! I can hear one of my friends just saying The Blood, The Blood, The Blood! It will never lose it's power! When I was growing up there was a commercial for Sure deodorant and their slogan was raise your hand if you are sure. As I was preparing for bed on tonight the HS brought this to my memory! Sure deodorant believed in their product so much they declared to everyone that our product will stand up to any test and we are so sure about it you can lift your hands in confidence! We raise our hands in many situations which displays our certainty about a situation. Kids lift their hands when they know an answer. You raise your hand if you are a witness testifying in court. We lift our hands in the presence of God as a sign of reverence and respect because we believe who he says he is. Tonight I heard the HS say I need you to be sure about the things I told you! I need you to not waiver, doubt, compromise, faint, or stagger at the promise! The promise is sure but I need you to stand assured that I will work it out on your behalf. Last week as I was grocery shopping I ran across a product in the store by Betty Crocker which was called a complete meal. As I looked at the box I began to read the contents because I was curious about what made it complete. As I continued to read I noticed that everything needed to prepare the meal was already in the box and you know I received a revelation from reading that box. The revelation was everything that God has called us to be and do in the natural as well as the spirit is already on the inside of us. Jeremiah tells us that before he formed us in our mother's womb he already predestined us that means we came in the world already equipped to do his will. He has already given us everything we need that pertains to life and godliness. My question to you is why are we so fearful and hesitant to step out and do what we have been called, chosen, equipped, justified, sanctified, and anointed to do. Are You Afraid To Fly? A few years ago one of my favorite television shows was the ATeam starring Mr.T.  Periodically, the team would have to board a plane and fly to various places to solve cases. Mr. T even though he was big, strong, and fierce  had a fear of one thing. The fear of flying! Whenever the team had to board a plane to fly they always had to give Mr. T a tranquilizer prior to boarding the plane to put his mind at ease. So what do you do when God has called you to soar at an altitude that is above where you are comfortable? How do you confront the fear and anxiety that comes along with what God has called you to do? If we are ever going to walk out our God-ordained purpose for our live we must become determined not to allow fear to hold us back. So how do you overcome the fear ? My grandfather would always have the den warm and toasty for us when we came in from outside playing. Our family would sit in the den for hours and watch the fire and listen to it crackle. Sometimes the the fire would die down, but my paw paw had a remedy for that. Just outside the door he kept a wheelbarrow with some pine wood which he used to ignite the fire again. In a matter of seconds the fire would be backing burning fierce.      And sometimes our faith is just like my grandfather's fire, extremely hot and it slowly fizzles out. Have you ever desired to purchase an item which you really could not afford?  A few months ago I noticed a pair of black Jessica Simpsons in Dillard's which I definitely wanted to add to my collection. I visited the store at least once a week to see if the shoes were on sale. I mean I was faithful you guys. Each week when I visited the store and flipped the shoe over on its bottom I would still see the regular price. Sometimes I would even venture to ask the salesperson if she knew when the shoes would possibly go on sale. Then finally one day while shopping with my DIVA friend who I will refer to as Bean, she noticed the shoes were on sale. Something on the inside of me begin to beam with great joy. We both pulled the shoe from the display and hurriedly sought to locate someone to assist us, only to discover our sizes were not available. I was not a happy camper, but I refused to give up the fight! The salesperson checked her computer and located a pair in my size in another store...

     The average person in life will experience sickness at one point and time. Some of those persons will schedule an appointment immediately to see the doctor, others will experiment with homepathic remedies, and some will utilize the power of the Internet to diagnose their problem. But regardless to the strategy one might employ to feel better it becomes imperative for the individual to follow all of the instructions and prescriptions given by the doctor.      I can remember a few months ago I had a terrible cold that I could not seem to shake. I went to the local walk in clinic because I was feeling really bad. The doctor rendered a diagnosis and prescribed an antibotic along with a nasal spray in order for me to gain some relief. His words to me before I left the office was to  make sure I complete the entire prescription of antibiotics. Well you can imagine what happened next.      On this morning I am reminded of the story of  The Tortoise and the Hare. The hare was so sure he would win the race because of the slow pace of the tortoise. The hare was so confident in his ability that he decided to stop along the way for a rest. When the hare came to himself he awoke to find the tortoise had won the race. We could all learn a lesson from the tortoise.      I want to know on today who will embrace the mindset of the tortoise and continue to press towards your purpose, your destiny, your assignment until you see it come into fruition. I normally do not write on Saturday but I've had these words churning on the inside of my spirit since yesterday.      How many of you own your home or maybe you are in the initial stages of preparing for home ownership? No matter where you find yourself in this process I know you will admit like me it takes some work. There are so many logistics which must be in place before you are presented with the keys that will unlock your future. Some aspects of the process may even require more work in order for you to walk through the door.      Today I want to speak to a different type of ownership that we have been given. God has given each one of us a purpose and just like with the process of home ownership we must put in our due diligence if we are going to fully walk into the manifestation of our assignment.       Have you ever heard the phrase we are creatures of habit? Creatures of habit denotes that we have become comfortable with the mundaneness of life. I truly believe one of the true signs of a highly effective and successful person is their level of organization. But what happens when what we use to rely on no longer produces the desired outcome we expect. I once read a quote which stated, "If you always do what you always did you will always see the same results."      What areas in your life do you seem to keep encountering blockages and closed doors?
