Do You Know?

     What do you do when you are faced with a question you can not answer or you are presented with information in which you have no prior knowledge about? Who or What do you consult?
     On this morning I want to talk to a group of individuals who have been asking themselves the following question. What was I created to do? You have often said within yourself I know there has to be more to life than what I am currently experiencing! Lately you have been frustrated because you find yourself void of the passion for the things which once produced a drive and determination in your life. May I simply suggest to you that what you have been longing and seeking for comes from the one who created you. 
     When there is a problem with and object created by man we consult the inventor of the product. May I suggest to you that it is high time for you to connect with your Creator because what your are searching for can only be found in and through him! Purpose is calling my friend and it is time to answer!

Faith Under Fire

    I can remember like it was yesterday standing in front of the fireplace to warm my hand and legs on a cold winter day. My grandfather would always have the den warm and toasty for us when we came in from outside playing. Our family would sit in the den for hours and watch the fire and listen to it crackle. Hands Up!!!!

Hands Up! Thus I will bless You while I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name. (Psalms 63:4)      This morning as I was standing in the kitchen pouring my coffee and watching the rain fall from the sky I heard the voice of the Lord say unto me, “lift up your hands!” The lifting of the hands is a sign of surrender and reverence. If the police were to stop you their first response would be for you to get out of the car and lift your hands. The purpose of lifting your hands indicates to the police you are in agreement and will not try anything tricky. It also shows you are not hiding anything. This same principle applies in the spiritual realm as well.      So many times as believers and non-believers we try to be so strong when we are faced with various test and trails in life.
