On this morning I am reminded of the story of The Tortoise and the Hare. The hare was so sure he would win the race because of the slow pace of the tortoise. The hare was so confident in his ability that he decided to stop along the way for a rest. When the hare came to himself he awoke to find the tortoise had won the race. We could all learn a lesson from the tortoise.
I want to know on today who will embrace the mindset of the tortoise and continue to press towards your purpose, your destiny, your assignment until you see it come into fruition. See the bible I read declares that the race is not given to the swift or the strong but the one who endures to the end. Do you have enough stamina and fortitude to press forward into that God ordained place which he ordained for you before the foundations of the world? Despite the obstacles, the setbacks, the disappointments, the rejections, the naysayers, and the critics. If you will continue to rise each morning and seek God for his wisdom, guidance, and direction I guarantee you will begin to see what you have been believing and standing for come into existence.
Don't worry about the pace at which others are running, just remain in your lane looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of your faith. Don't compete, compare, or complain.
Consistency and persistence are the keys you need to cross over into your purpose!
