God Ordained Opportunities and Overflow in 2018

A few weeks ago my husband and I went to Wal-Mart to pick up a few items. As soon as we approached the double doors in front of the store they automatically opened. It is simply amazing how far we have come with modern technological advances. As we walked into the store the Holy Spirit gave me a revelation!. The doors automatically opened for you and gave you access to enter because of the steps you made towards them. In 2018 we will be presented with numerous opportunities which will allow us to gain access into doors which otherwise would have been closed to us. It is ultimately left up to us as individuals if we will walk in the opportunities awaiting us behind these doors.

How many times can you recall being presented with an opportunity that you did not take only later to find you missed the moment of a lifetime. So many times we allow fear, doubt, past failures, and even other people to make us miss our blessing. In this season if we are going to walk full throttle into all God has predestined for our lives since the foundations of the world we must embrace a spirit of boldness. I truly believe we have entered a season of no limits, only fulfillment according to II Corinthians 9:8, but we must have a made up mind to pursue in order to possess all God has for us. This is our year to overcome, overtake, and overflow in life. Many of us have been on the bottom to long and it is time for us to ascend and take our rightful place. It is a season of abiding continually and perpetually in the overflow. Are you ready to go with me?

I made up my mind in November of 2017 that 2018 was the year I was not leaving any cards on the table concerning various dreams God has placed in my heart. When you come to the realization that settling is not an option because you deserve greater it will cause you to make moves. Ephesians 3:20 reminds us that God is able to to do far more than we can ask or even think but it is according to the power that works on the inside of us. If you are willing, God is certainly able.

On Tuesday I taught a message entitled, "Launch Out" from Luke 5:1-8. The Holy Spirit gave me this message to encourage the people this is the opportune time to launch out and be intentional. In this passage of scripture the fisherman had toiled all night long and caught nothing. When they met up with Jesus on the shore they were washing their nets. Jesus encouraged them to push out a little from the shore and as he taught the people from the boat he told the fishers to launch out again, but on the right side. As soon as they obeyed the Word of the Lord their nets began to be filled to the overflow with fish. There were so many fish the fisherman had to call for another boat to help with the catch. As a result both boats began to sink because of the over abundance of fish which filled the nets. Can you say a God Ordained Opportunity!!!!

Your God Ordained Opportunity is closer than you think! It is as simple as making a decision to come into agreement with the plan of God for our lives. Many times we often repeat the age old adage I am waiting on God to move which is not true! God has already done his part he is just waiting on us!

Faith Under Fire

I can remember like it was yesterday standing in front of the fireplace to warm my hand and legs on a cold winter day. My grandfather would always have the den warm and toasty for us when we came in from outside playing. Our family would sit in the den for hours and watch the fire and listen to it crackle. Sometimes the the fire would die down, but my paw paw had a remedy for that. Just outside the door he kept a wheelbarrow with some pine wood which he used to ignite the fire again. In a matter of seconds the fire would be backing burning fierce.      And sometimes our faith is just like my grandfather's fire, extremely hot and it slowly fizzles out. So what cause our faith to stall out during those critical times? Well many things! We can become discouraged when we don't see the manifestations of God's promise come to pass on our time watch. Doubt, unbelief, and worry will cause your faith to fade away. The lies of the enemy and others he uses to bring ne...

Hands Up!!!!

Hands Up! Thus I will bless You while I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name. (Psalms 63:4)      This morning as I was standing in the kitchen pouring my coffee and watching the rain fall from the sky I heard the voice of the Lord say unto me, “lift up your hands!” The lifting of the hands is a sign of surrender and reverence. If the police were to stop you their first response would be for you to get out of the car and lift your hands. The purpose of lifting your hands indicates to the police you are in agreement and will not try anything tricky. It also shows you are not hiding anything. This same principle applies in the spiritual realm as well.      So many times as believers and non-believers we try to be so strong when we are faced with various test and trails in life. It is during these times of storm that we truly begin to realize our natural strength often fails us. Proverbs 3;5-6 reminds us to trust in the Lord with al...

iGod Is Near and All You Need

iGod(My God) Is Near You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore .      Over the past few years the cellular phone industry has changed in a major way with the birth of the iPhone. Once the iPhone hit the market all other cellular phone companies had to go back to the drawing board and design a product which surpassed the iPhone introduced by Apple. Why was this phone so special? What capabilities did the iPhone posses that others did not offer? The main reason everyone switched from the current brand of cellular phone to iPhone was simple. One device was able to perform the task of many devices; it is so amazing how one thing has the power to alter the lives of so many. Our God, the iGod has the power to transform the lives of all who seek him.      There is something about iGod! There is an indescribable feeling that comes over me when I begin to focus my ent...
